Welcome to the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Northern Virginia home page. My name is Patrick Harders and I have been the owner and head designer for the Northern VA franchise since 2001. Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I trained for two years at the corporate headquarters. With over 10 years in the landscape lighting industry, I have seen it grow from something that was rarely done in Northern Virginia and the Washington DC Metro area, to an increasingly popular home improvement in our region.

Although we are a leading member of the nation’s largest landscape lighting company, our location is a family run business with a commitment to treating each customer the way we wished contractors would treat us in our own home.

·Nighttime designs – We believe every customer has their own unique tastes when it comes to design. We provide our customers the ability to actually see their property before they decide. Each design is provided at no cost and no pressure. Many of our customers have told us that they chose to do business with us because we didn’t just tell them it would look great, but we took the time to actually show them a preview and designed it around their preferences and desired effect.

·Class A contractor – Many companies out there are not even registered with the state of Virginia to do outdoor low voltage lighting.
